Hi, I have a customers GM300 and need to change bandsplit from 12.5K to 25K (for use on marine band outside the US), so gave the Radio Doctor GM300 software a go, but can't seem to find any reference to it on any of the menus. Not sure how to program a Signaling System either, if I would need to.
Has anyone had any experience doing any of these more advanced operations? (other than setting RX/Tx frequency and tone).
The version of the program I think it was the one that used to be posted here, and its v1.1.2.

Come to think of it, I don't remember the original RSS for this series of radios back when even having an option to set 12.5 or 20/25K channel spacing.
Radio Doctor program is showing me 12.5KHz channel spacing on the non editable area just bellow the radio serial number for this particular GM300. Deviation is definitively confirmed to be limited to +/-2.5K so indeed the radio behaves like its on 12.5K channel spacing. How do I change it back to 25K?
Also, on the main menu the Signaling and Accessories items are greyed out, not sure why. Signaling options towards the top right side of the non-editable portion of the window shows Select 5, MDC-1200, Star, Single Tone. But the selector box bellow it is shown in red and no options in it besides 'None'.
Looking for info, found some videos and in some of them the screen is actually indicating 25KHz channel spacing. But not in one of those videos anybody ever shows any operation related to changing the channel spacing.

I'm guessing that the 12.5/25K indication shown on the Radio Doctor GM300 software is irrelevant. The GM300 and other similar Moto radios of the time did not have any channel spacing programming capability so there is no way the software could read that information.
The only way back then to convert these radios to narrow-band compliance was by installing a kit that included new crystal filters and required realignment of the receiver and dialing back the deviation level down to 2.5K.
