In 1958, in order to make up for gaps in the series of artillery, superior to a rocket artillery factory issued a tactical and technical development tasks and related indicators from the real beginning of the history of design and manufacture of rockets.
Through the analysis of Soviet-made rockets, combined with the higher authorities of tactical and technical index, developed by staff to determine the overall scheme of rockets. Its overall structure and Su ??14-17? rockets similar directional control volume from the original sheet steel welded, machined from seamless to improve the directional tube stiffness strength, inner white chrome plated to improve the abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. Tactical and technical requirements and according to the carrying capacity of chassis, directional control beam directing means composed by the 19, two more than BM14-17G improve the single-shot power. Latch Stop Mechanism increased stopper rod linkage, suitable for multi-tube manipulation, reduces operator time and improve safety march rocket. As the spiral of self-locking mechanism in the shooting unreliable, will produce back to change position, according to the model developed by 203 when the accumulated experience in the level and direction of machine handwheel to increase machine locking pin. Adopts new rocket firing rockets BM-24 structure, performance and more advanced and reliable. Its automotive chassis using domestic NJ-230 chassis, ensure that all guns localization. New rocket sight of factory mass production, ensure quality.
Similarly scratch test, self-designed sensor, designed for mounting the sensor mounting bracket, designers and testers in the field trials defying the cold temperature to fight together, and finally in the test data based on scientific analysis to solve a rocket and directional control with the gap, the length of directional, multi-directional control tube parallelism between, latching force size, multi-barrel rocket firing order, rocket bursts interval shooting semi-rigid support and full body rigidity the difference between the support and the impact of key parts manufacturing and assembly accuracy, low Fangxiang Song momentum of a series of key issues. Through these efforts of exploration, development staff to develop an understanding of the ignorance of the law which, for some choice of parameters, from perceptual knowledge to gradually reach a rational understanding, summarizing the unguided rocket launcher key parts of structural strength design method, as well as unguided rocket launcher rocket intensity on some of the inherent laws affecting.
Typing Rocket is an exciting keyboarding game for kids of all ages! Pop the rockets by typing the letters that appear on them. The game gets progressively more difficult as the time winds down. The Type 63 multiple rocket launcher is a towed, 12-tube, 107mm rocket launcher produced by the People's Republic of China in the early 1960s and later exported and manufactured globally. Although no longer serving with active infantry units, the Type 63 is still in People's Liberation Army service with specialized formations such as mountain infantry units and special forces detachments. NASA uses rockets to launch things and people into space. There are several different types of rockets. The following articles contain lists of rockets by type: List of missiles; List of orbital launch systems; List of sounding rockets; List of military rockets; List of rocket stages; See also. Comparison of orbital launch systems; Comparison of orbital launchers families; Comparison of space station.
After a short period of three years, 130 mm rockets fully met the requirements of the tactical and technical indicators, in 1963 completed the design work stereotypes, from the end of military equipment did not homemade rockets history. 1963 Formula 130 mm rocket launchers state of war the whole weight of about 4900 kilograms, including 19 rounds and a gunner. Its diameter is 130.65 mm, when the elevation angle of 19 °, its length is 5.5 m (combat) and a width of 2.15 m and a height of 2.5 meters. Maximum range of 10,020 meters, the height of fire is 0 ° ~ 50 °, aiming high and low speed of 8.5 mils / turn, the direction of target velocity 53.7 mil / rev. Launch speed 19 rounds / 9.5 to 11.5 seconds, filled with 19 bullets in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds. Good on the roads in the rocket speed march 45 to 50 km / h.
Meanwhile, the 1963 Formula 130 mm rocket launchers of anti-burst grenades also successfully developed. Its 1.051 meters long bomb, bomb weighing 33 kg, the maximum flight speed of 437 m / s, the maximum trajectory up to 3091 meters and a maximum range of 10,115 meters, the minimum range is 3124 meters away. Warhead weight 14 kg, charge 3 kg, propellant weight 6.7 kg. The bombs kill radius of 22 meters intensive, fragment velocity of 1412 m / s, crater volume of 1.07 m 3.1963 model year 130 mm rocket grenade blast destruction or annihilation is mainly used for anti-exposed or concealed vital forces, eliminate march and river defenses and destroy and suppress artillery and armored forces. The missile has a simple structure, light weight, long range, easy to use features.
The Type 63 and Type 70 Multi-Barrel Rocket Launchers (MBRL) has 19 tubes arranged in two lines of nine and ten tubes. The modernised and upgraded Type 82 and Type 85 Multi-Barrel Rocket Launchers have 30 tubes arranged in three lines of ten tubes. All the tubes are parallel to each other and mounted co-axially on a cradle. Ammunition used with the MBRL is in the form of Rocket which consists of one piece. Warhead is attached with rocket motor. A fixed amount of propellant is contained in the rocket motor. The rocket is stabilized with a slow spin.
The Type 63 high explosive rocket is olive drab with black markings. This 33.0 kilogram (72.8 pound) rocket contains a main charge of TNT weighing 3.0 kilograms (6.6 pounds). The warhead is made of metal. The spin stabilized, high explosive Type 82 rocket weighs 32.0 kilograms (70.6 pounds). The rocket is olive drab with black markings.

Flying model rockets is a relatively safe and inexpensive way for students to learn the basics of forces and motion. There are many different types of model rockets and one of the first and simplest type of rocket that a student encounters is the bottle rocket. We have an entire section of the Beginner's Guide to Rockets, devoted to the science and math of bottle rockets. There are special web pages for teachers to align bottle rocket activities with National Math and Science Standards.
It is important to note that building and launching a bottle rocket is not only educational, it is fun. Groups of students can work together with a teacher to learn the fundamentals. In the figure at the top of this page, we show teachers and students from two different schools involved with bottle rocket activities. The center photo comes from Sue Simmons of Birche's Elementary School in Turnersville, New Jersey. Mrs. Simmons and her students are preparing a rocket for launch at the pad. The other two photos are from Casey Teliczan of the Rockford Public School District in Rockford, Michigan. Mr. Teliczan's activities are part of the Rockford Community Services after-school enrichment program. On the left photo, his students proudly display their rocket designs and on the right, a rocket has been launched leaving a trail of water exhaust.
Birche's Elementary School 5th grade classes conducted scientific studies of bottle rockets in the fall of 2009. They were joined in the fall of 2011 by students and teachers at Whitman Elementary. Each group of students launched an egg on a rocket of their own design with and without water as a propellant. The students produced Power Point presentations of their studies which are available for your study and viewing. In 2009, Mrs. Simmons' classes produced a video recording of their project and have made it available to students around the world. Just click on the movie picture below to launch the video. The file is large (34 Mb) so it may take time to download.
You can use our RocketModeler III computer program to predict the flight characteristics of your bottle rocket. After the flight, compare your flight data with the predictions in the same process used by real rocket scientists to improve designs.
